Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) to support the market adoption and customer success of our voltage regulator portfolio. In this role, you will become a vital product expert, helping translate chip capabilities into practical customer solutions. A key focus of this position is the proactive research of market requirements; you will actively engage with the industry to uncover unmet customer needs and emerging technical challenges, directly translating those insights into the features of our upcoming products. You will work closely with a diverse internal team—including IC designers, hardware developers, and applications engineering teams—to build evaluation boards, write datasheets, and support customers through schematic and layout integration. If you have a solid foundation in power electronics and love being hands-on with hardware while shaping product strategy, this role is for you.

Core Responsibilities

  • Market Requirements & Feature Mapping: Actively research the market and engage with customers to uncover unmet technical needs and trends, translating these insights directly into actionable feature definitions for next-generation products.
  • Cross-Functional Engineering Collaboration: Partner directly with chip designers and internal engineering teams to align customer-facing features with silicon architecture capabilities.
  • Evaluation Board & Kit Creation: Design, test, and deliver functional Evaluation Boards (EVBs) and Evaluation Kits (EVKs) to help customers benchmark and test our silicon.
  • Datasheet & Documentation Support: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating highly detailed product datasheets, application notes, and layout optimization guides.
  • New Product Input: Contribute to the initiation of new product developments by gathering market data and summarizing technical feedback from early customer engagements.
  • Product Expertise: Master all technical details of our voltage regulators to support customers through schematic reviews and PCB layout checks.
  • Application Mapping: Document and showcase key product advantages (such as efficiency and thermal performance) across specific target customer applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Lab & EDA Tools: Hands-on experience using PCB design software (e.g., Altium, Cadence) and standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters).
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to proactively interview customers and present technical hardware concepts clearly to both external buyers and internal design teams.
  • Language: Professional proficiency in English (working language).

Location

  • Preferred Locations: Finland or Sweden.
