Job description

Job Title: Junior Account Manager (Email Marketing)

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time Contractor

Working Hours: 8 hours per day, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM UK Time (Monday to Friday)

Industry: E-commerce / Email Marketing

About Us

Mint Source is a remote-first bridge that connects vibrant talent with international clients and agencies, enabling skilled individuals to showcase their expertise on a global stage.

Role Overview

Mint Source is recruiting a Junior Account Manager to join a UK-based Klaviyo Platinum partner agency that has helped more than 100 e-commerce brands across fashion, beauty, sporting goods, gifting, and home decor grow through email and SMS marketing. This is a true entry-level role: you will be trained from the ground up by experienced account managers and learn how high-performing email programs are planned, built, and delivered. Day to day, you will work closely with account managers, copywriters, designers, and QA specialists to keep client campaigns moving. Success looks like learning quickly, staying reliable, and steadily taking on more responsibility across accounts, from campaign support toward real client management. For someone who wants a real career in e-commerce marketing, this is the ideal first step.

What You'll Do

  • Support account managers in the day-to-day running of client email accounts
  • Learn the full campaign cycle, from brief and copy through design, QA, and send
  • Help coordinate deliverables between copywriters, designers, and QA so campaigns go out on time
  • Assist with campaign setup and scheduling in Klaviyo
  • Check emails before they go out, reviewing copy, links, and rendering for accuracy
  • Help maintain campaign calendars and keep task boards up to date
  • Sit in on team meetings and client calls and learn how account managers handle requests, feedback, and shifting priorities
  • Help prepare client reports and performance recaps for account manager review
  • Review client Shopify stores to understand their products, offers, and brand voice
  • Communicate proactively in Slack, sharing updates and flagging blockers early

What We're Looking For

  • 0 to 1 years of experience. Genuine curiosity matters more here than a long resume
  • A quick learner with a real thirst for knowledge. This is the one non-negotiable
  • A team player who enjoys close collaboration: the role is roughly 80% teamwork, 20% independent work
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Familiarity with Klaviyo and Shopify, or the drive to get up to speed on them fast
  • Some hands-on email marketing exposure is a plus, not a requirement
  • Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and proactive communication
  • Energetic, highly motivated, and agile: happy to switch between tasks as priorities shift
  • Backgrounds that translate well here include sales, customer support, virtual assistance, or running your own small e-commerce project. None of these are required, but the skills carry over

Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • This is a training role, so early success is measured by learning speed and reliability rather than hard performance numbers
  • Accuracy and consistency in campaign support and pre-send checks
  • Responsiveness and clear, proactive communication with the team
  • First 30 days: learn the tools, processes, and accounts while shadowing account managers. By 60 days: handle routine campaign support with light supervision. By 90 days: support accounts with growing independence, including drafting client updates for AM review

What You Get

  • Monthly compensation of $1,000 USD
  • Hands-on training and mentorship from experienced account managers, with a clear growth path toward a full Account Manager role
  • Structured feedback through regularly scheduled check-ins
  • A remote-first role with international exposure to established e-commerce brands

Compensation: $1,000 USD / month
