The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management and a proven track record of successfully managing commercial properties. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a comprehensive facility management plan to ensure the proper functioning of all facilities and equipment. - Oversee the maintenance and repair of all company-owned properties, including building systems, equipment, and grounds. - Manage and coordinate all vendor and contractor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring work is completed on time and within budget. - Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas in need of repair or improvement. - Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure all facilities are properly maintained and in compliance with safety regulations. - Manage and track facility budgets, including forecasting and cost control measures. - Develop and implement emergency response plans to address any unexpected facility issues or emergencies. - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to facility management, including safety and environmental regulations. - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility maintenance, repairs, and expenses. - Oversee the procurement of necessary supplies and equipment for facility maintenance and operations. - Manage a team of facility maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a commercial setting. - Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance processes. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to effectively manage a team and work collaboratively with others. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software. - Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations. - Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
