Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Kingsville, MD. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and a proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets - Oversee and manage project teams, including subcontractors and vendors - Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction - Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays - Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns - Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports - Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and safety standards are being met - Oversee procurement of materials and equipment - Monitor and control project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities - Mentor and train junior team members - Maintain a strong working knowledge of industry trends and best practices Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in a management role - Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proven ability to manage project budgets and control costs - Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment - Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications - Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team - OSHA certification preferred We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
