Job Description:

The Director, Managed Services - OEM owns digital advertising and SEO program delivery for every OEM program we support. This role is the air traffic control for DigAd and SEO OEM work. The position manages a small team of DigAd and SEO OEM Program Managers, maintains the working relationships across our OEM Programs, and facilitates every request, meeting, and deadline in flight. This role serves as the primary contact for program administrators and OEM teams. The Director triages incoming requests, sets priority, assigns an owner, and drives each one to close, coordinating with the DealerOn OEM team wherever program scope crosses over. Requests run through a consolidated intake, and every program deadline lives on one calendar. Success depends on responsiveness, critical thinking, and analytical depth. This is a full-time, remote position.

Essential Functions:

  • Own Dig Ad and SEO OEM program delivery end to end, including partner relationships, program compliance, and translating program requirements into dealer execution
  • Coordinate with Managed Services leadership to set the annual strategic plan for each OEM
  • Facilitate OEM requirements and communicate changes to the team clearly and early
  • Flag program changes that create risk or opportunity, with a recommendation for how we respond
  • Run deep dives on recurring issues to identify root cause and put process improvements in place
  • Acknowledge every OEM request the same business day, with an owner and a date
  • Set turnaround expectations with partners up front, and deliver a weekly OEM status recap to Managed Services leadership
  • Maintain an intake queue for all OEM and Dev requests, routing each one with a category, priority, and owner, and tracking it through to close
  • Triage and classify incoming requests, prioritize them within the project plan, and decide which ones need a deep dive
  • Maintain a rolling calendar of every OEM program deadline, and know and hit the SLAs on every program
  • Own billing accuracy on every OEM program, running the tie-out monthly and driving any variance above threshold to a root cause and a fix
  • Document every recurring OEM process in our internal knowledge base and keep it current
  • Monitor program-level performance and surface patterns before they become escalations
  • Deliver analysis every stakeholder can use, from dealer principals to OEM program administrators
  • Facilitate OEM QBRs from data pull through narrative through delivery
  • Own the RFP build for Managed Services, including requirements, pricing inputs, narrative, and on-deadline submission
  • Manage, develop, and hold accountable the DigAd and SEO OEM program managers
  • Coach the team on communication, escalation, and prioritization
  • Run consistent 1:1s and performance management
  • Assign a DRI to every OEM relationship and build backup coverage so no relationship stalls when someone is out

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8 years' experience in digital advertising, with direct experience managing OEM or manufacturer-funded programs
  • 5 years' experience in a management role
  • Automotive retail or dealership experience
  • Working knowledge of OEM program mechanics, including enrollment, program compliance, and co-op reimbursement requirements
  • Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications
  • Proven track record building process and documentation that scales across multiple programs
  • Ability to explain platform and reporting detail to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a record of coaching and holding a team accountable
  • Analytical depth across spreadsheets, billing files, and platform data, with the ability to reconcile a variance and identify root cause without direction
  • Critical thinking to determine what is actually being asked before solving it
  • Consistent responsiveness, with a track record of fast acknowledgment and closed loops

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Direct experience with Tier 2 or Tier 3 OEM programs
  • Experience working with OEM program administrators
  • Digital advertising and SEO program management experience
  • Experience with campaign automation or ad management platforms
  • Experience with data analysis and insight tools such as Power BI, Looker, or equivalent
  • Fluency and Rep Man experience a plus
  • Project management experience across concurrent program cycles
  • Advanced Excel, including reconciliation across large data sets
