Job description

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to work for our company.

Summary: 

  • Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency
  • Experience in quality assurance and quality control of IT Systems. 
  • Experience in verification and validation, software testing and integration, and software metrics, and their application to software quality assessment. 
  • Must be capable of maintaining and establishing a process for evaluating software and associated documentation. 
  • Must be able to determine the resources required for information technology quality control. 
  • Must be able to maintain the level of quality throughout the software lifecycle. 
  • Develops software quality assurance plans. 
  • Conducts formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development lifecycle. 
  • Applies subject matter knowledge to high level analysis, design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, installation, documentation and implementation. 
  • Resolves problems, which require an intimate knowledge of the related technical subject matter. 
  • Applies principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions. 
  • Includes but not limited to environmental, scientific, maintenance and repair processes, and logistical support activities.

Requirements: 

  • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
  • Five (5) years relevant experience.
  • Experience in quality assurance and quality control of IT Systems.
  • Experience in verification and validation, software testing and integration, and software metrics, and their application to software quality control.
  • Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Certification: ITIL v4 Foundation 
  • Certification: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
