Job description

Position: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT – PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Salary range: Php 120,000/month (The final amount will be at the the client discretion basing on the candidate’s skills and experience.)

Working Hours: Following AU business hours

Work set-up: 100% Remote work under Independent Contractor Agreement

Holidays: TBD

About the Company & Role

Our client is an established property management business supporting property owners and investors across multiple markets, with a focus on maximising property performance while delivering reliable, end-to-end management and guest services. The business works closely with property owners to manage their properties, improve returns, and provide a professional experience for both owners and guests. As the company continues to expand its managed property portfolio, they are looking for a proactive Business Development Assistant to support their growth and business development activities. In this role, you will help identify and research potential property owners and investors, support outbound lead generation, qualify initial enquiries, maintain the CRM pipeline, and coordinate appointments and follow-ups. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in business development, sales, lead generation, property, real estate, hospitality, or customer-facing roles who enjoys building relationships and contributing directly to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Research and identify prospective property owners and investors within target markets.
  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists using online research, CRM records, LinkedIn, and other relevant sources.
  • Identify potential property management opportunities based on property type, location, and suitability.
  • Support email, phone, and digital outreach campaigns.
  • Conduct initial outreach and follow up with prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and next steps.

Lead Qualification & Sales Support

  • Respond to initial enquiries from prospective property owners and investors.
  • Conduct initial qualification to understand the prospect's property, requirements, and current management arrangements.
  • Identify qualified leads and refer them to the Business Development Manager for further discussion.
  • Research prospects and properties prior to calls, meetings, appraisals, and presentations.
  • Assist with preparing proposals, pitch materials, appraisal documents, and presentations.
  • Track opportunities through the business development pipeline.

Client & Owner Relationship Support

  • Maintain professional and timely communication with prospective and newly acquired property owners.
  • Coordinate calls, meetings, property appraisals, inspections, and site visits.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for newly signed managed properties.
  • Follow up on outstanding information and documentation.
  • Help ensure prospective and new clients receive timely updates throughout the process.

Partnership Support

  • Research potential referral partners, including real estate agents, property professionals, developers, builders, and other relevant contacts.
  • Support the development and maintenance of referral partner relationships.
  • Assist with partnership and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Track referrals, introductions, opportunities, and outcomes.

CRM & Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead and opportunity records in the CRM.
  • Track prospect status, activities, follow-ups, appointments, and outcomes.
  • Monitor follow-up schedules and ensure opportunities have clear next steps.
  • Prepare pipeline reports and business development updates.
  • Assist with meeting coordination, diary management, documentation, and other administrative tasks.
  • Provide general support to the Business Development Manager as required.

Requirements

Required / Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–2 years' experience in business development, sales, lead generation, property, real estate, hospitality, customer service, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Experience with lead generation, prospecting, outbound communication, or sales support.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems or sales pipeline management tools.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and communicating with prospective clients.
  • Strong research and information-gathering skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow through on leads, tasks, and client interactions.
  • Able to work independently while maintaining effective communication with a remote team.
  • Experience working with Australian or New Zealand clients/customers is highly preferred.

Preferred / Advantageous

  • Experience in Australian or New Zealand property management, real estate, short-term rentals, holiday letting, or hospitality.
  • Familiarity with property management or short-term rental platforms.
  • Experience using Resly or similar property management systems.
  • Experience with lead-generation or prospecting tools.
  • Experience working with Australian or New Zealand property owners, investors, agents, or other industry professionals.
  • Familiarity with property appraisals or real estate sales processes.
