Description:

CTG is seeking to fill an an entry-level AI Vibe Coding Engineer to support rapid development of AI-powered applications, prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and internal tools. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder with experience using Generative AI, LLMs, AI coding assistants, APIs, and modern software development tools.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career developer who enjoys experimenting with emerging AI technologies and using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Windsurf, and Replit AI to accelerate development.

 

Location: Remote

Duration: Ongoing Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Build AI-powered applications, prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and internal tools.
  • Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate software development and troubleshooting.
  • Develop applications using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, or Golang.
  • Work with Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, RAG, APIs, and MCP.
  • Build and integrate REST APIs, web services, and third-party applications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and UX teams to rapidly turn ideas into working solutions.
  • Test, debug, document, and improve AI-generated and application code.
  • Research and experiment with emerging AI frameworks and developer productivity tools.

Required Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of software development experience; recent graduates with strong projects, internships, or academic experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Programming experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, or Golang.
  • Basic experience with React, Next.js, REST APIs, Git, and GitHub.
  • Experience or familiarity with Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Windsurf, Replit AI, or similar AI coding tools.
  • Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, and RAG.
  • Basic understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol).
  • Understanding of APIs, JSON, web services, and basic application architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work in a rapidly evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar AI frameworks.
  • Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience integrating AI applications with databases, enterprise systems, or third-party APIs.
  • AI/GenAI personal projects, GitHub contributions, hackathons, internships, or academic projects.
  • Strong product mindset and ability to rapidly create functional prototypes.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent practical experience, including internships, academic projects, open-source contributions, or substantial personal coding projects, will be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $24.00 to $29.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
