Summary:

  • Location: Warwick, RI

Responsibilities:

  • Support customers calling with questions related to defined benefit annuities or pensions.
  • Provide clear explanations of policy details, payments, and account status.
  • Complete account maintenance requests such as direct deposit and address changes, beneficiary and death notifications.
  • Assist throughout the claims process.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in financial services.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Windows-based operating systems (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to explain complex financial information clearly and accurately.
  • Comfortable multitasking across multiple systems during live customer interactions.
  • Handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Curious and supportive of enhancements from Artificial Intelligence.
  • Demonstrate strong reliability through consistent attendance and adherence to schedules.

  • Reliable attendance throughout the training period is mandatory.
  • After successful completion of quality certification/assessment, work from home with one day per month in the Warwick office.
  • High-speed internet with home office connected to router using an ethernet cable required.
  • Flexible shift assignments within hours of operation, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Schedules after training are determined using a ranking system based on performance in training.
