Position Summary
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies. We are seeking a Change Management Specialist to deliver hands-on change and transition management as the VA transitions to a modern EHR. This role applies a multidisciplinary approach to managing change and transition within healthcare organizations, programs, and projects, producing the actionable artifacts that turn change strategy into site-level adoption. Work includes change management assessments, communication and coaching plans, resistance management, training plans, and readiness evaluation as VHA scales the Oracle Health Federal Electronic Health Record.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop plans associated with transition management, implementation of major initiatives, and organizational transformation and culture change
  • Complete change management assessments and develop change management strategy for assigned initiatives
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance among clinical and operational staff
  • Create actionable deliverables including communication plans, roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans
  • Support and engage senior leaders as change sponsors and equip them to carry change messaging
  • Support organizational design and the definition of roles and responsibilities affected by EHR workflow change
  • Integrate change management activities into the project plan and evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Manage stakeholders, track and report issues, and escalate adoption risk
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress across sites
  • Provide change-readiness assessments, communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and transition support so users understand workflow changes and system updates
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required
  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing change and transition within healthcare organizations, programs, or projects
  • Experience producing communication plans, roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans
  • Experience completing change management assessments and defining change strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage resistance and to evaluate user readiness
  • Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online, Office 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI at an expert level
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Low/NACI background investigation.
Preferred Qualification
  • Prosci certification preferred
  • Experience applying Prosci and change management in a union environment preferred
  • Experience supporting electronic health record deployment or Oracle Health (Cerner) adoption
  • Experience supporting VHA or a comparable federal health organization

The posted salary range is the company’s good-faith estimate for this role. PFS benefits and compensation are determined by various factors, including, but not limited to, location; the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience; as well as contract and organizational requirements.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000
