Job description

Summary:

Chicago Magazine is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented college graduate for a paid, six-month Research Assistant position (with potential for extension). Working closely with writers, editors, and publicists, this role serves as a key pillar of our editorial team, focusing primarily on fact-checking and accuracy across our monthly feature stories. If you have an eye for precision and a strong knowledge of Chicago, this is a fantastic entry point into magazine publishing.

This role is remote, but open to Illinois-based applicants only.

Benefits and Compensation:

The hourly wage is $17.05. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility).
