Join a collaborative technology team developing and enhancing enterprise applications that support critical business operations. This role is ideal for an experienced Software Engineer with strong Java, Azure, and Salesforce expertise who enjoys designing scalable solutions, solving complex technical challenges, and contributing to high-impact projects.

 

Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and support enterprise software applications.
  • Perform systems analysis, application design, coding, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Develop and maintain applications using Java, Microsoft Azure, and Salesforce technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA, and infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and project estimates.
  • Execute unit and integration testing while ensuring application quality and reliability.
  • Lead technical efforts on small to medium-sized projects and mentor junior developers.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
  • Ensure compliance with development standards, security requirements, and organizational policies.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Independently perform advanced systems analysis and software development activities.
  • Coordinate development efforts across multiple project teams.
  • Partner with technology leaders, business users, and vendors to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on project-based assignments.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities

  • No direct supervisory responsibilities.
  • May provide technical leadership, mentoring, and project coordination for less experienced developers.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and 5+ years of systems analysis/application development experience, or a combination of education and experience totaling at least 7 years, including 5+ years of application development.
  • Strong experience with Java, Azure, and Salesforce development.
  • Experience with enterprise application architecture and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Experience coordinating technical initiatives across development and business teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience within financial services or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of enterprise application frameworks and integrated systems.
  • Experience with cloud-native application development and Azure services.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience driving technical initiatives.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $46.64 - $77.74/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
