Summary of Position:
The Senior Marketing Communications Coordinator provides support and guidance within the marketing side of the department.  Lead the coordination of RFP and RFQ responses from kickoff through final delivery, partnering with technical and marketing teams to develop compelling proposal and qualifications packages that help win new business. Responsibilities:
Marketing Communications
  • Takes a lead role in coordinating RFP and RFQ responses from kick-off through final delivery, coordinating materials as well as designing and producing proposal and qualifications packages.
  • Supports proposal and qualifications submissions whether JB&B is engaged as the prime consultant or as a subconsultant, tailoring materials and coordination to each role.
  • Write, edit and format tailored project descriptions, resumes and SF330 forms.
  • Coordinates information among Documents Team, internal technical team and/or external consultants, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Collaborates closely with the Senior Marketing Communications Manager to develop and refine approaches to RFP/RFQ responses.
  • Maintains tracking matrices/indexes of available marketing content.
  • Helps maintain and format the firm’s marketing collateral, including resumes, project descriptions and project lists.
  • Coordinates project photography, scheduling photographers for completed projects and maintaining the firm’s project image library.
  • Manages and completes the annual resume updates.
  • Updates content to the intranet as needed.
  • Assists with adding, updating and maintaining the firm’s business development and marketing contacts in firmwide CRM for the Marketing Communications team.
  • Co-leads the efforts with the Meltwater platform, writing Boolean searches and maintaining reporting profiles for generating leads, tracking social media and news items for the SVP of Marketing and Business Development.
  • Acts as a mentor to more junior marketing communications staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Fosters a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement in marketing processes.

  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to support research and editorial work, while ensuring outputs are accurate, properly vetted, and consistent with the firm’s voice and standards.
  • Develops job knowledge and technical expertise through participation in educational and professional development opportunities
  • Takes charge of own development and performance by proactively seeking feedback from superiors and peers
  • Assumes ownership of his/her work

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field preferred, but not required.
  • Possesses minimum of 3 - 7 years of experience in a professional related environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, polished, client-ready proposal and marketing materials.
  • Possesses advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Possesses intermediate skills in the Adobe CC Suite, particularly InDesign. 
Estimated Salary: $82,000 to 104,000. Salary is based on location where the employee would be working, the years of experience, and certifications. 

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment and requires the use of standard office equipment. This role can be based in NYC or be fully remote.
