Join a small, high-impact founding team at a seed-stage AI-powered fintech compliance company building a foundational multi-agent AI platform. As an early AI Applied Engineer, you'll work directly with the CEO and CTO to define the AI roadmap and architect core systems that autonomously handle business identity data from diverse sources. This is a pivotal role that will shape company culture, product direction, and real-world AI outcomes for customers in the KYB (Know Your Business) and compliance space.
Define AI strategy and directly influence the product roadmap alongside executive leadership
Design and develop a multi-agent AI platform that processes and reconciles identity and compliance data from varied sources
Build rigorous evaluation frameworks and benchmarks to measure agent performance and output quality
Engage directly with customers to capture requirements, gather feedback, and translate insights into product improvements
Stay current with the latest AI/ML research and ecosystem developments, translating findings into tangible product impact
Foster a collaborative, high-trust engineering culture as a founding team member
Required:
Strong Python development experience with a focus on AI/ML workflows (dealbreaker)
Hands-on experience building and deploying multi-agent AI platforms
Experience with large language models (LLMs) and machine learning pipelines
Experience in data integration and identity information extraction/reconciliation from diverse sources
Ability to design and implement evaluation benchmarks to assess agent performance and output quality
Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to engage directly with customers
Experience working in or contributing to an early-stage startup environment (founding team experience preferred)
Ability to track the latest AI landscape and translate findings into product impact
Nice to Have:
Proven track record collaborating with C-suite leadership and influencing product roadmaps
Salary: $180,000 – $250,000 USD annually
