The Opportunity

We are looking for a 4+ PQE lawyer to join our highly successful Corporate practice group. You will work alongside a team of exceptional lawyers to deliver quality work and an exceptional experience to every client you interact with.

We act for an incredibly diverse client base, helping them with a broad range of needs including sale and purchase of businesses, employee incentive schemes,  shareholder agreements, share buy-backs, business structuring, loans, corporate governance and not for profit advice.

This position is ideal for a mid-level lawyer with broad corporate law expertise. You should have experience in efficiently managing workflows and projects in a fast paced, high volume environment, and effectively communicating with clients. Experience managing people is preferred.

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least 4+ years of experience in a reputable law firm with a specific focus in general corporate, corporate advisory and/or M&A work
  • Excited to act for a diverse client base, from start-ups and SMEs to larger corporates
  • Strong track record of managing transactions end-to-end in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing workflows and deadlines efficiently
  • Confident in direct client engagement, including:
    • Providing practical, commercial advice
    • Building trusted client relationships
    • Explaining complex legal issues clearly and pragmatically
  • Commercially minded, solutions-focused, and aligned with a modern, growth-driven legal services model

The Perks

  • Gain exposure to a diverse range of clients and legal matters, and develop close relationships with your clients.
  • Enjoy flexibility, autonomy and working within an incredible team, all while supercharging your career.
  • With our 'LV Leave' benefit, receive up to 25 days of paid annual leave per year, with additional days after 2 years of service, plus paid parental leave, birthday leave, and volunteering leave.
  • Annual budget to spend on external learning and development.
  • Regular team socials, drinks and team lunches.
  • Vibrant office environment in Surry Hills super close to Central Station, and flexible work-from-home options. We're also happy to consider fully remote work for candidates outside of Sydney.
