The Opportunity

We are seeking motivated lawyers (2-8 PQE) to join our growing Commercial and Regulatory Practice (Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare ). You'll work directly with a range of healthcare organisations, pharmaceutical manufacturers and pharmacies, helping them navigate complex regulatory requirements and protect their businesses.

This opportunity offers genuine variety. You will assist healthcare and pharmaceutical clients with their commercial legal needs including preparing commercial contracts, reviewing policies and advising on compliance with TGA and AHPRa regulations. .

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements and policies, including services agreements, privacy policies and all other business as usual documents required by our clients
  • Provide advice on a range of regulatory matters 
  • Provide advice in relation to clinical trial requirements and assist client with documents required to run a successful clinical trial
  • Assist multiple client matters simultaneously, adapting to different business cultures and working styles

The Ideal Candidate

  • Admitted to practice in Australia with 2-8 years' post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial agreements and advising on commercial and regulatory matters across the medical, health and/or pharmaceutical sectors. While not required, experience with residential aged care or retirement villages would be highly regarded.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with SMEs and corporate clients.
  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a high-performing team.
