Job description

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for an Observability and Automation Engineer for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Observability engineering
  • Design and implement end-to-end observability solutions across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
  • Implement and manage metrics, logs, traces, synthetic monitoring, and real user monitoring (MELT).
  • Develop standardized dashboards, telemetry frameworks, and monitoring strategies.
  • Establish enterprise observability standards and best practices.
  • Automation & toil reduction
  • Build automation solutions to eliminate repetitive operational tasks.
  • Develop self-healing and runbook automation capabilities.
  • Implement automated incident triage and operational workflows.
  • Improve operational efficiency through AI-driven automation.
  • Reliability engineering
  • Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, and alerting strategies.
  • Improve service reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Drive reduction in Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR).
  • Support incident response and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Proactive monitoring & aiops
  • Implement anomaly detection and predictive monitoring.
  • Leverage AIOps capabilities for alert correlation and intelligent incident response.
  • Identify potential issues before customer impact.
  • Enable proactive operational management using telemetry insights.
  • Platform integration
  • Integrate observability platforms with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Connect cloud services and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow).
  • Enable seamless alerting, escalation, and operational workflows.
  • Support Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) based deployments.
  • Collaboration & governance
  • Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams.
  • Establish operational readiness policies and standards.
  • Drive organizational adoption of observability best practices.
  • Mentor teams on observability, automation, and SRE concepts
