Job description

Clario, a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Manager, RFI & Content Specialization to lead and optimize the management of RFI responses, content strategy, and proposal management operations that support business growth and operational excellence. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and strategic alignment of documentation and deliverables while driving operational efficiencies across the organization. The Manager will lead and develop a high-performing team, oversee the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of proposal management tools, and build strong partnerships with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders. This position plays a key role in supporting departmental initiatives, advancing content management best practices, and continuously improving processes to maximize business impact and user experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage the RFI (Request for Information) and content management function, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and strategically aligned deliverables

  • Oversee the RFI content library, including management, maintenance, governance, and optimization of content management systems and proposal management tools

  • Conduct ongoing assessments of content management platforms, including user experience, system performance, and content accuracy, implementing continuous improvements as needed

  • Support the completion of RFIs, proposals, questionnaires, and other business development documentation in partnership with internal stakeholders

  • Drive operational efficiencies that improve the speed, quality, consistency, and effectiveness of team deliverables

  • Ensure all team-produced documentation remains accurate, compliant, current, and aligned with organizational objectives and strategic direction

  • Lead collaboration with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality content and knowledge-sharing practices

  • Participate in product release readiness discussions and ensure appropriate team representation and content readiness activities

  • Partner with departmental leadership on strategic initiatives, transformation projects, and continuous improvement efforts

  • Directly manage, coach, mentor, and develop team members, providing leadership, performance support, and escalation management

  • Support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development activities for team members

  • Assign and distribute workload across the team to optimize productivity, meet deadlines, and balance resources effectively

  • Partner with departmental leadership to monitor team performance, business objectives, compliance requirements, and operational metrics

  • Drive process standardization, documentation, and collaboration across Proposal & Proposal Development functions and other business partners

  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements that enhance team performance, service delivery, and overall business value

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or CRO environment

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within RFI, content management, proposal management, commercial operations, project management, or related functions

  • Demonstrated people leadership and direct personnel management experience

  • Proven experience recruiting, developing, coaching, and managing high-performing teams

  • Demonstrated experience using proposal and content management platforms (e.g., Qvidian, Responsive, or similar solutions)

  • Strong experience managing content libraries, knowledge management processes, and content governance programs

  • Expert knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical industry terminology, practices, and business development processes

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms

  • Strong analytical, written, communication, organizational, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-pressure environment

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and driving operational improvements

  • Based in India or able to work in India in alignment with local employment requirements
