Description

Future B2B is looking for a Community Engagement & Partnerships Manager to serve as a critical bridge between audience development and revenue generation. You will act as a key growth engine for the Education portfolio, directly supporting the sales and content teams by building a high-intent audience of decision-makers to attend events, webinars, and serve as brand ambassadors. This role has two core components:

Community Generation: Cultivate and manage an engaged community of education buyers to serve as a high-quality prospect pool for our sales teams for events and custom content as well as provide intelligence to the editorial teams for content development.

Strategic Market Expansion: Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships that expand our total addressable market, boost event attendance, drive newsletter subscriptions, and create new monetizable inventory.

What You'll Do

You will report into the Group Publisher

  • You'll engage and recruit school district buyers to convert them into engaged community members across our online and in-person networks.
  • You'll manage virtual and in-person forums by hosting monthly digital events, weekly newsletters, and interactive polls to uncover client needs.
  • You'll oversee the end-to-end experience for events to optimize networking, client acquisition, and overall sponsor return on investment.
  • You'll distribute working attendee lists, key program highlights, and weekly data-backed reports to assist sales teams in securing higher-tier sponsorships.
  • You'll cultivate partnerships with national education associations, states, and school districts to co-develop new events and expand our audience.
  • You'll partner with the Future B2B team to onboard new partners, scaling the education network and unlocking fresh commercial opportunities.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B community management, strategic partnerships, business development, or field marketing.
  • Knowledge of the K-12 education ecosystem, district budgets, and EdTech buying cycles.
  • Established network of education professionals, school district administrators, and national associations.
  • Experience writing engaging copy for community platforms, weekly newsletters, and interactive polls.
  • Public speaking skills to host digital events and moderate sessions expertly.
  • A history of successfully negotiating and managing strategic co-marketing agreements.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and problem-solving skills to help our network grow.
  • Experience working with sales teams to turn engagement into measurable revenue.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating both virtual webinars and in-person professional events.

The expected range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000. 

This is a remote, U.S.-based role and some travel is required. Future U.S. can hire in 37 states. These include: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
