Job description

This is a remote position.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

This company runs Meta advertising systems for roofing and home-services companies across the US. Twelve months ago they did $15k/month, today they're at $350k/month. This company is going to be a billion-dollar company. They hire people who are fighting for that vision, not for a short-term paycheck.

This is NOT a normal CSM job

At most agencies, "customer success" means support tickets and check-in calls. Here, the CSM sits on the REVENUE side of the customer journey. The moment a client signs, their outcome, their narrative, and their growth belong to you. A dedicated technical team (media buying, creative, data) handles delivery behind you. You own the relationship, the expectations, the renewals, and the backend revenue. They built this role's profile from film review of their own top closers' recorded calls. That is literal, not a metaphor: they analyzed hundreds of recorded calls and distilled what their best people do. They are currently hiring CSMs with closer DNA. Your book: 50–60 accounts. Yes, that's high. It's by design. Systems do the heavy lifting; you bring the capacity, the frame, and the hunger.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

1. Onboarding. New clients arrive with momentum. You keep it. First conversations, asset collection, expectations, launch velocity. A client's first two weeks predict their next twelve months, and their first two weeks are yours.

2. The narrative. Expectation-setting so strong the hard conversations mostly never happen. Every client in your book knows exactly what cycle one looks like, when the guarantee numbers hit, and what happens if you land short. When the story is set right at
the start, renewals close themselves.

3. The book runs like a pipeline. Your accounts live in categories: money-makers, red-alert, pre-launch, first-cycle; hot, warm, cold. Every morning you look at the board and ask one question: what action moves each account up? Happy client? Testimonial,
referral, upsell. Cold client? Get on the phone and change the temperature. This is pipeline management, not an inbox.

4. Renewals. Clients are on 12-week terms (three 4-week cycles). Your job is that renewing feels like the obvious next step because the narrative never broke.

5. Backend revenue. You sell to your own book: market expansion, niche expansion, winter prepay, retainer prepay, the Hiring System, the Closing System, reviews automation. Advisor frame, always: prescriptions, not pitches. You're doing sales FOR the client, not TO them. And you get paid on every dollar of it.

6. Proof. Testimonials, reviews, and referrals are harvested, not hoped for. Happy clients in your book should be producing all three, and you're paid for each.

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

This profile was built from their top performers' tape. Every trait below is something their best people do on camera, consistently, without being told.

  • Radical ownership. You see the ball, you pick it up. Zero gap between noticing a task and taking it. Nobody assigns you your own book.
  • Honest self-assessment. On a bad day you can name exactly what YOU did wrong and the fix. Not "I need to do better." The specific mistake, the specific correction.
  • Proactive communication. They will hear about problems from you first, before they find them. Every time.
  • Self-directed study. You learn before you're trained. New vertical, new offer, new system: you've already watched the material by the time someone schedules the training.
  • Resilience. You perform when conditions are against you. Sick, tired, five hard calls back to back: your baseline holds, because it's discipline, not momentum.
  • Team-first with a competitive edge. You genuinely celebrate teammates' wins, and you still want the record.
  • High EQ. You read the room, adapt mid-conversation, and can take a hard call and end it with a plan and a better mood than it started with.
  • Frame control. Kind, not nice. You care about clients too much to be polite about problems. You set direct terms about what they should expect and feel, and you hold that frame when it's tested.
  • You chase the close. Getting a renewal locked, an upsell signed, a testimonial filmed: that hits you the way closing a deal hits a closer. If that dopamine means nothing to you, this is the wrong job.

Do not apply if:
  • You check boxes to look productive while things quietly slip. They audit. It shows.
  • Your explanations center on what happened TO you instead of what YOU did.
  • You need the same instruction twice.
  • Your self-reports run hotter than your numbers.
  • You struggle alone instead of asking for help. Feedback here is oxygen.
  • You fold when someone pushes back on you.
  • You're brilliant for a week, invisible for three.
