SAP S/4HANA WBS Data Architect

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a senior SAP Solution Architect to support large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives for an enterprise Aerospace & Defense client. This role focuses on architecting and governing an ongoing enterprise WBS Master Data Integration Framework between legacy systems, SAP S/4HANA, and Central Finance (CFIN) to continuously synchronize WBS structures, project definitions, and financial attributes.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architect and govern a long-term WBS Master Data Integration Framework linking legacy enterprise systems, SAP S/4HANA, and Central Finance (CFIN).
• Conduct business requirement analyses, FIT/GAP assessments, and facilitate stakeholder workshops with Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Engineering teams.
• Configure SAP functionality and develop functional specifications while maximizing standard SAP capabilities and minimizing custom development.
• Design canonical data models, interface governance, reconciliation processes, and enterprise master data controls using SAP AIF, APIs, BAPIs, IDocs, and SAP Integration Suite.
• Design and implement end-to-end intercompany and project accounting integration across SAP PS, FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and Manufacturing modules.
• Oversee continuous data synchronization of WBS structures, organizational assignments, financial attributes, and program data throughout the transformation lifecycle.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate is a Senior SAP Solution Architect with extensive expertise in SAP PS, S/4HANA, CFIN, and AIF integration frameworks. They bring a strong strategic understanding of enterprise WBS data governance, project accounting, and intercompany structures within Aerospace & Defense or Manufacturing environments.

• Architect end-to-end WBS master data integration and governance frameworks between legacy applications, SAP S/4HANA, and Central Finance (CFIN).
• Analyze business requirements, perform FIT/GAP assessments, and facilitate technical workshops across Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Engineering teams.
• Design scalable interfaces, canonical data models, and reconciliation controls using SAP AIF, APIs, BAPIs, and SAP Integration Suite while minimizing custom development.
• Configure SAP functionality and support testing and validation across SAP PS, FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP integration touchpoints.
