Job description

Razor is looking for a Data Architect to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data architecture solutions supporting modern cloud-based database environments. This role focuses on enterprise data modeling, data warehouse architecture, ETL design, and cloud database technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions. Experience with ER/Studio Enterprise is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Education & Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in database architecture, data modeling, or data engineering.

Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain enterprise data architecture supporting cloud-based database environments
  • Develop and maintain logical and physical data models using ER/Studio Enterprise
  • Design, develop, and optimize enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions
  • Design data structures supporting structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
  • Design and develop ETL architecture and data integration solutions
  • Support master data management and data quality initiatives, including data cleansing activities
  • Architect and support enterprise database environments utilizing AWS, Oracle, and Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS)
  • Collaborate with application developers, database administrators, and business stakeholders to develop scalable data solutions
  • Support data analytics initiatives and enterprise reporting platforms
  • Participate in Agile software development activities and collaborate across cross-functional technical teams
  • Research, evaluate, and document recommendations for enterprise data architecture improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with ER/Studio Enterprise Data Modeling and Architecture tools (required and non-negotiable)
  • 3+ years of experience with enterprise data modeling, data architecture, and Data Warehouse/Data Lake design
  • Experience designing structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data models
  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing ETL solutions, including ETL architecture, data transformation, Master Data Management (MDM), and data cleansing
  • 3+ years of experience working with AWS Cloud, Oracle Databases, and Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS)
  • 3+ years of experience using ETL and data analytics tools
  • Experience working with Databricks
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
