About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Architect specialized in Microsoft technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data architectures and solutions leveraging Microsoft SQL Server, Office 365, and Azure cloud services. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and developers to ensure the scalability, performance, and security of our data ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise-grade data architectures using Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and related tools).
  • Define data modeling standards, ETL processes, and integration strategies across multiple data sources.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to align data architecture with organizational goals.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and security best practices across the organization.
  • Optimize data flows, storage, and performance across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing data infrastructure.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to data engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or database design.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (including SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Office 365 integration and data management within Microsoft ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal); Spanish proficiency is a plus.
