Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Insurity Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions on the Insurity platform for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance organizations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in insurance technology, enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, and system integration while driving digital transformation and application modernization initiatives. This role requires strong technical leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and architect end-to-end enterprise solutions leveraging the Insurity platform across Policy Administration, Billing, Claims, and related insurance functions.
  • Lead application modernization, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives for core insurance platforms.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps, technical standards, governance frameworks, and architectural best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design and oversee integrations between Insurity applications and enterprise systems, including Policy Administration, Billing, Claims, Data Warehouses, CRM platforms, and third-party applications.
  • Define solution architecture for APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration frameworks.
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development, QA, DevOps, and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, design validations, code reviews, and technical governance activities to ensure solution quality.
  • Ensure platform performance, scalability, availability, security, and compliance with insurance industry standards and enterprise architecture principles.
  • Support solution estimation, technical planning, production deployments, and issue resolution.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and operations teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in insurance technology and enterprise application architecture.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on the Insurity platform.
  • Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance business processes, including:
    • Policy Administration
    • Billing
    • Claims Management
    • Underwriting
  • Extensive experience with:
    • Enterprise Solution Architecture
    • Application Modernization
    • Cloud Architecture
    • System Integration
    • API Design and Management
    • Microservices Architecture
    • Enterprise Integration Frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, messaging platforms, and integration patterns.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, database design, and enterprise data integration.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture principles, design patterns, and scalable distributed systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills
  • TOGAF certification or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
  • Cloud certifications such as:
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Experience leading large-scale insurance modernization and digital transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift) and cloud-native application architecture.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), and automated deployment strategies.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging platforms (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ), and enterprise middleware.
  • Understanding of insurance regulatory compliance, security standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience integrating Insurity with CRM, document management, analytics, data warehouse, and third-party vendor systems.
  • Ability to mentor architects and engineering teams while driving architectural excellence and innovation.
