Virtual Medical Scribe - Dermatology Experience Preferred

About the Role

We're seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Virtual Medical Scribe to support a fast-paced, comprehensive dermatology practice — one that combines medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology under one roof. You'll work directly alongside providers throughout clinic hours, capturing accurate, complete documentation in real time so they can stay focused on patient care.

This role requires precision. Dermatology visits move quickly and cover a wide range of conditions and procedures, so strong medical terminology knowledge and the ability to keep pace with a busy clinic are essential.

What You'll Do

• Assist providers with real-time documentation of patient notes during clinic hours, plus follow-up documentation afterward as needed
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all clinical documentation
• Work directly and continuously with providers throughout the day in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Apply strong knowledge of medical terminology across a broad range of dermatologic conditions and procedures
• Ensure documentation is complete, clear, and ready for provider review and sign-off

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Nursing License or LPN with strong clinical documentation experience will also be considered
• Prior experience as a medical scribe required
• ModMed / Mod Med EMA EMR experience required
• Strong, clear spoken and written English communication for real-time provider interaction
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medical documentation
• Strong working knowledge of medical terminology
• Comfortable working directly with providers in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting
