Base Pay Range:

$62,000 - $75,000

As a Copywriter, your essential job responsibilities will include the following:

  • Transform business objectives and customer insights into compelling content that strengthens program awareness and engagement.
  • Create and edit compelling and engaging copy that capture the target audience's attention while staying true to brand, legal, and OEM requirements.
  • Adapt tone of voice and word choice to appropriately tailor the message for different audiences, platforms and customer journeys while preserving brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with designers, other team members, and program stakeholders on the conceptualization of content.
  • Favor clarity and brevity in all communications, embracing a “less is more” approach to quickly and meet the business objective.
  • Stay current with marketing and content trends and apply as relevant.
  • Evaluate business challenges and critically think about innovative marketing solutions.
  • Become immersed in internal, automotive, and tire manufacturer brand standards across a high volume of distinct OEM voices.
  • Proofread materials for grammar, structure, style, and tone, and brand-guide adherence.
  • Manage a high volume of concurrent projects, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Use AI-assisted drafting and proofreading tools as part of the standard workflow to support consistency and accuracy across brand voices.
  • Provide other communications support, as necessary.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Journalism, English and/or Communications, or Marketing.
  • 2­­+ years of professional writing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and command of English and other required language(s) grammar, syntax, and spelling is required; knowledge of Chicago Style preferred.
  • Excellent proofreading skills.
  • Proficient with Mac, Microsoft Office, and standard internet research tools; comfortable adopting AI-assisted writing and proofreading tools.
  • Self-starter with the ability to overcome challenges independently.
  • Proven ability to pivot quickly between projects, manage multiple competing priorities, and seamlessly incorporate revisions to support evolving business objectives and tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills required.
  • Experience working in a professional, corporate environment.
  • Desire to collaborate and work within a strong team.
