Job description

VirtueStaff is seeking a strategic, proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive our end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for our client. In this role, you will collaborate directly with hiring managers to identify workforce needs, design position profiles, source top talent across diverse channels, and lead candidate evaluation procedures. The ideal candidate brings a blend of modern ATS mastery (Greenhouse or Darwinbox), sharp computer literacy (including exposure to construction operations tools like Procore and Sage)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with department leaders to identify staffing needs, establish quarterly/annual hiring forecasts, and set precise candidate selection criteria
  • Headhunt and engage passive talent through professional networks, social platforms, resume databases, and online/web-hosted career events
  • Foster long-term, meaningful relationships with past applicants and prospective talent to build sustainable talent pipelines for future growth
  • Craft detailed job descriptions and structured, role-specific interview questions that reflect positional requirements
  • Manage full-cycle selection processes—including resume screening, structured phone assessments, skill evaluations, and coordinating final interviews
  • Track, update, and analyze candidate data, pipeline metrics, and feedback within our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Lead employer branding campaigns and represent the company at virtual or in-person recruitment events
  • Maintain meticulous organizational records, follow-up timelines, and reporting utilizing Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Procore, and Sage

Requirements

  • Direct hands-on experience using modern Applicant Tracking Systems, specifically Greenhouse or Darwinbox
  • Proven track record running full-cycle recruiting using structured interview techniques and modern talent search tools
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Project); familiarity with construction management software like Procore and Sage is a major asset
  • Background recruiting within the Construction Industry is highly preferred (though general corporate/commercial recruitment experience is welcomed)
  • A keen ability to quickly differentiate structural, operational, and administrative roles across an organization.

  • Exceptional verbal/written communication habits with a strong emphasis on consistent follow-up and candidate experience
