Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior UX Designer for a 6-month contract to elevate the user experience of its online platform across desktop and mobile. Reporting to the Head of UX Design, you will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Brand, Creative, and Merchandising teams to design intuitive, scalable, and customer-centered experiences that support product growth and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end user experiences by mapping complex user flows, journey maps, and wireframes that address both core use cases and edge cases.

• Apply systems thinking to evolve and strengthen the design system, ensuring consistency while creating scalable UI patterns when needed.

• Build high-fidelity interactive prototypes with motion and micro-interactions to communicate design intent clearly to stakeholders and engineering teams.

• Translate business goals, customer needs, and strategic insights into scalable UX frameworks and design solutions.

• Design customer-first experiences grounded in empathy, usability, and problem-solving.

• Advocate for the user throughout the product lifecycle by identifying opportunities to improve the overall customer journey.

• Foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional, agile teams, incorporating feedback and iterating quickly.

What We're Looking For

• Strong expertise in design systems, information architecture, and scalable UX patterns.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain design decisions through user insights and business objectives.

• Advanced experience with motion design, interaction design, and high-fidelity prototyping.

• Strategic mindset combined with the ability to execute detailed, high-quality design work.

• Deep understanding of responsive design and designing seamless experiences across desktop and mobile platforms.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or related roles, operating at a Senior, Principal, or Lead level.

• Demonstrated expertise creating polished, production-ready user experiences.

• Advanced proficiency with modern prototyping tools such as Figma (interactive components and variables), ProtoPie, Principle, or Framer.

• Experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously across different phases of product development.

• Passion for design, creativity, and delivering exceptional user experiences.

• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

• Must be based in Latin America (LATAM).

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for e-commerce, marketplace platforms, or digital event/invitation products.

• Experience working in fast-paced, product-led organizations.

• Familiarity with user research and usability testing methodologies.
