The Alliance of Bioversity International (www.bioversityinternational.org) and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) (www.ciat.cgiar.org) delivers research-based solutions that harness agricultural biodiversity and sustainably transform food systems to improve people’s lives. Alliance solutions address the global crises of malnutrition, climate change, biodiversity loss, and environmental degradation.

 

With novel partnerships, the Alliance generates evidence and mainstream innovations to transform food systems and landscapes so that they sustain the planet, drive prosperity, and nourish people in a climate crisis.

 
The Alliance is part of CGIAR, a global research partnership for a food-secure future.


The activity is part of a project deliverable under s290 (IKI LTS sub-grant), which requires the development of policy brief material from the project report and a multi-stakeholder consultation outputs to communicate the integration of food systems transformation in to nationally determined contributions. The work will directly contribute to our deliverables:
  • Policy briefs and targeted analytical notes for NDC revision
  • Knowledge dissemination blogs and communication products targeting policy audiences
Deliverables
  • Commentary on Workshop Preparation and extraction of content for Policy Brief material –Commentaries on the workshop templates that can feed into policy brief materials.
  • Policy brief creation: developing a full policy brief document based on synthesis of project reports and stakeholder workshop outputs
