Adobe CMS Developer - Remote

Job Title: Adobe CMS Developer
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.) 
Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2 
Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually 
Experience Required: 6+ years

Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced Adobe AEM CMS Developer to develop and maintain enterprise digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AEM Sites, AEM Assets, AEM as a Cloud Service, Java, and modern AEM development practices, with experience building scalable, high-performing web applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows.
  • Build solutions using Java, OSGi, Sling Models, HTL, and Servlets.
  • Develop headless CMS solutions using Content Fragments and GraphQL.
  • Customize AEM Assets (DAM) and workflows.
  • Integrate AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud and external systems.
  • Optimize site performance, Dispatcher caching, and deployments.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Manager, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Adobe AEM development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Java, OSGi, Sling, HTL, and AEM architecture.
  • Experience with AEM 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Hands-on experience with Content Fragments, GraphQL, and headless CMS.
  • Experience with Dispatcher, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe Certified AEM Developer.
  • Experience with Edge Delivery Services (Franklin/HLX).
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
  • Experience integrating AEM with Magento or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Experience supporting multi-brand or multi-region AEM implementations.
