We are currently searching for a Senior Business Consultant – Accounting & Soft Accounting (AA):

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

• Lead the functional implementation and configuration of accounting and soft accounting software modules for enterprise clients.
• Act as the primary liaison between the finance department and the technical engineering teams to translate complex business rules into system requirements.
• Analyze clients' existing financial processes, chart of accounts, and general ledger structures to propose optimized software solutions.
• Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide functional training to end-users on the new accounting platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to soft accounting, ensuring seamless integration with core financial systems.

Your Profile (Requirements)

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Consultant, Functional Consultant, or Business Analyst specializing in accounting software or ERP implementations.
• Strong background in Finance or Accounting, with a deep understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and financial reconciliation processes.
• Proven track record of gathering requirements and configuring complex financial software (experience in the banking/fintech sector is highly preferred).
• High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
• Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."

Desired

• Specific experience implementing Core Banking solutions or major financial ERPs.
• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams.
• Advanced Spanish.

Special Notes

• Competitive market-based compensation with no predefined salary restrictions; open to reviewing available options in the market based on candidate expertise. Estimated market range is $50,000 MXN to $90,000+ MXN gross monthly, but highly dependent on the candidate's specific Core Banking (e.g., Temenos) experience.
