Essential Functions

Billing Governance & Controls

Review and improve governance across Cloud & Hosting, Global Networks, and other technology billing domains, ensuring controls are designed in from the outset rather than retrofitted.

Design and implement externally auditable control frameworks that withstand internal and external scrutiny.

Embed clear ownership, approval paths, and accountability for billing decisions and exceptions across IT and Finance.

Scale governance to new billing domains as the technology estate evolves, maintaining consistency without slowing change.

Billing & Financial Process Design

Design bespoke billing and re-charge solutions for technology domains that are not supported by standard enterprise finance platforms, with a particular focus on Cloud & Hosting and Global Networks.

Improve reconciliation between usage data, supplier invoices, and internal charges, reducing time-to-detect for errors and discrepancies.

Apply strong financial controls throughout the billing lifecycle to minimise risk, error, and rework.

Partner closely with Finance on recharges, reporting, audit expectations, and the integration of technology billing outputs into consolidated financial reporting.

Technical Architecture & Implementation

Apply software engineering principles at a detailed implementation level, contributing directly to the design, build, and refinement of billing and reconciliation solutions.

Work directly with Cloud & Hosting, Global Networks, and billing data sources to ingest, transform, and validate consumption and cost data.

Apply automation and new technologies pragmatically to remove manual effort and improve accuracy and traceability.

Ensure solutions fit existing organisational, technical, and commercial constraints, and are deliverable within Belron’s operating model.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build trusted relationships across IT, Finance, Procurement, ITAM, and Applications, acting as the credible architectural owner of technology billing.

Communicate complex financial and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.

Influence through credibility and delivery, with a track record of being trusted by Finance and audit stakeholders.
