Junior Billing Specialist

About the role

We're looking for a Junior Billing Specialist to support RetailNext's billing team and help keep invoicing running smoothly and on time.

You'll work closely with the Billing Manager and Billing Specialist, learning the billing process hands-on while resolving issues, processing terminations, and keeping customer portals up to date. This role suits someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and ready to build a career in billing operations.

You'll get direct coaching as you learn, with a clear path to grow into a full Billing Specialist role.

Location: Remote, Philippines

What You'll Do

Billing Support & Issue Resolution

• Support the Billing Manager and Billing Specialist with day-to-day billing tasks
• Spot billing issues early and flag them to the Billing Manager before they grow into bigger problems
• Give the Billing Manager regular updates on progress and any open issues
• Help keep the team on track with the billing calendar and monthly timeline

Invoicing & Documentation

• Upload invoices into customer portals every day, on time
• Attach the correct backup files to each Gaviti invoice
• Refund RMAs daily so every credited item is accounted for
• Process RMA bill-backs accurately and on schedule

Account & Store Terminations

• Process account and store terminations daily so no opportunity is left unprocessed
• Check termination records for accuracy before closing them out

Ad-Hoc Projects & Process Improvement

• Jump in on ad-hoc billing projects as they come up
• Spot ways to make the billing process faster or more accurate, and share ideas with the team

What We're Looking For

Required

• Willingness to learn RetailNext's billing process with support from the Billing Manager
• Understanding of the billing calendar and monthly timeline
• A sharp eye for spotting billing issues before they escalate
• Comfortable with detail-heavy, daily administrative work
• Clear communicator who gives regular status updates

Valued but Not Required

• Experience with Gaviti or a similar invoicing platform
• Prior experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance support
• A track record of spotting process gaps and suggesting improvements
