Job Summary
Summary<br>Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department including providing cafeteria services, catering and ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of nutrition services while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Nutrition and Food Services department, including meal preparation, meal assembly, and meal delivery to patients and cafeteria customers. <br>
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree Foodservice Management NOT required, nor bachelor's degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials
Experience
Food Service Experience 5-7 years preferred and Management Experience 3-5 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, nutrition principles, and dietary requirements for various patient populations.
- Knowledge of healthcare-specific dietary requirements and therapeutic diets is advantageous.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams with varied experiences and viewpoints
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to oversee food service operations efficiently.
- Budgeting and financial management skills to support departmental operations within allocated resources.
