Overview
Client is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst to support project work across development, process, and recruitment-related initiatives. This role will create Salesforce user stories, translate business use cases into developer-ready requirements, and identify opportunities to improve business processes, procedures, and systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop, research, test, and implement business process improvements, procedures, and system changes.
- Create Salesforce tickets and user stories based on business use cases and stakeholder requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and actionable guidance for development teams.
- Evaluate information and recommend improvements to business processes and systems.
- Research external market practices and internal business operations to identify patterns and best practices.
- Develop business process models, procedures, workflows, and future-state recommendations.
- Lead teams in evaluating and implementing process improvement strategies.
- Identify and document the business impacts and benefits of proposed process and system changes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for business requirements, process improvements, and system enhancements.
- Interview stakeholders to identify and document business needs and requirements.
- Review technical design deliverables to confirm alignment with business objectives.
- Support user acceptance testing, defect reporting, and issue resolution.
- Develop training materials, change communications, process manuals, presentations, and supporting documentation.
- Provide post-implementation support, including problem resolution, procedural adjustments, and change management.
- Mentor others on requirements methodology and business analysis best practices.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience with data gathering, research, analytics, problem identification, and presenting solution recommendations.
- 4+ years of experience with financial and risk analysis, business-case preparation, and cost-benefit analysis.
- 4+ years of in-depth experience with project planning techniques and methodologies.
- 4+ years of experience with business process analytics using Excel, flowcharts, activity diagrams, and workflow models.
- Experience creating Salesforce tickets, user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience translating business use cases into requirements for development teams.
- Experience with business process modeling, process improvement, and system-change initiatives.
- Experience supporting user acceptance testing, defect reporting, and resolution.
- Ability to document, propose, negotiate, and present business approaches and solutions.
- Strong understanding of business impacts, project interdependencies, and system interfaces.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and negotiating across organizational levels.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
