About You

You are an Azure DevOps Engineer passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and Infrastructure as Code. You enjoy building secure, scalable, and reliable CI/CD pipelines while driving cloud modernization through DevOps best practices and automation.

You thrive collaborating with platform engineers, cloud architects, and application teams to deliver enterprise-grade Azure solutions, continuously improving deployment processes, security, and operational excellence. You’ll contribute to a large-scale Microsoft Azure cloud transformation initiative, helping design, automate, and maintain enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure using an Infrastructure-as-Code and automation-first approach.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Expert knowledge of YAML pipelines, reusable templates, variable groups, and service connections.
• Experience designing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Experience integrating Terraform into CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of GitHub Actions.
• Experience implementing Policy-as-Code using Checkov, TFLint, and OPA/Rego.
• Experience integrating Azure Key Vault for secrets management.
• Experience implementing workload identity or federated identity authentication.
• Strong understanding of deployment strategies, rollback procedures, and Git-based workflows.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (B2+).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GitHub Advanced Security.
• Experience implementing container CI/CD pipelines and image scanning.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Containers.
• Experience integrating Azure DevOps with ServiceNow.
• Experience with Terraform Cloud or Terraform Enterprise.
• Experience supporting highly regulated cloud environments.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
• GitHub Actions Certification.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, validate, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and maintain reusable YAML templates and pipeline components.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
• Configure Policy-as-Code gates using Checkov, TFLint, and OPA/Rego.
• Integrate Azure Key Vault for secure secrets management.
• Configure workload identity and secure authentication for deployment pipelines.
• Support infrastructure deployments, rollback procedures, and pipeline troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with application teams to improve deployment workflows.
• Maintain technical documentation for pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment standards.
• Drive automation initiatives and continuous platform improvements while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Terraform, YAML, and CI/CD.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and Policy-as-Code in Azure environments.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure Key Vault, and Git-based development workflows.
• Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (B2+).
