Position Overview:
The Media Production Specialist supports the creation and delivery of high-quality video-based courses, podcasts, and digital learning content for Colibri Group. This is an entry-level opportunity for a motivated media professional eager to grow within a collaborative production team.
Working under the guidance of the Director of Media Production, you will contribute across the full production lifecycle — from pre-production planning through post-production delivery — while gaining hands-on experience with modern production workflows and AI-enabled tools.
This role serves as a key contributor to course production quality, supporting subject matter experts (SMEs), coordinating with internal stakeholders, and helping uphold brand and accessibility standards across all content. Occasional travel may be required (approximately 3–6 trips per year) to media production locations or the St. Louis studio.
What You'll Do
- Operate cameras and frame shots effectively in both studio and on-location environments
- Edit video content in Adobe Premiere using multicam workflows
- Set up and manage technical audio and lighting for recordings and live productions
- Participate in live broadcasts and podcast production
- Support the full production lifecycle, from pre-production planning through post-production delivery
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, internal stakeholders, and the broader media production team
- Help maintain brand consistency and accessibility standards across all content
- Contribute to continuous improvement of production workflows, including the integration of AI tools
- Travel occasionally (roughly 3–6 times per year) to support content creation at various locations
What You'll Need to Succeed
Hands-on video production or directing experience
Live broadcast or video crew experience
Strong camera operation and framing skills
Video editing proficiency, with specific experience in Adobe Premiere multicam workflows (highest priority)
Ability to manage audio levels and perform technical audio setup
Experience operating lighting equipment
Foundational knowledge across video, podcast, and live broadcast production
Comfort with regular travel and a flexible lifestyle to accommodate production schedules
Strong teamwork and collaborative communication skills
