The Principal Analyst is responsible for deep, extensive analysis of customer requirements and customer data in support of our firm’s managed services. The Principal Analyst is deeply involved in requirements gathering for new customers, in analysis of large client datasets, and in the delivery of managed services for new customers during onboarding and for a short period thereafter. The Principal Analyst reports to the Data Services Business Lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Designing thorough, repeatable processes for new client onboarding and scaling those processes to maturity.
  • Analyzing relational and unstructured datasets that may span hundreds of millions of records.
  • Writing detailed engineering requirements for ETL pipelines, data integration packages, and other technical solutions.
  • Performing extensive quality assurance analysis on data pipelines and data artifacts produced by internal teams.
  • Streamlining analysis, requirements development, and quality assurance processes using automation and AI.
  • Collaborating with customers in real-time to clarify requirements, share insights from analyses, and refining scope to support successful onboardings.
  • Working closely with leadership, peers, and external teams to overcome complex data challenges that impact managed services delivery.
  • Learning new tools, techniques, and technologies to support diversification and growth in our ability to serve clients’ complex needs.

  • Data analysis in SQL and Excel
  • Familiarity with creating data workflows in one or more data workflow technologies
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and the principles of managing data in databases
  • Ability to learn new business processes and systems
  • Ability to apply high-level business processes to newly learned tools, techniques, and technologies

LOCATION: Remote, U.S. Some limited, company-funded travel may be required to attend annual staff activities or larger team meetings.

WORKING HOURS: Our business operation requires employees to work in one of the four, continental U.S. time zones during regular, Mon-Fri business hours. 

Pay Range expected for the position: $90k-$110k annually.
