The Account Executive is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong client and partner relationships to advance Heller Consulting’s footprint in the Nonprofit and Healthcare Foundation market. The Account Executive will maintain a robust prospect and client portfolio, conceive of and lead campaigns to secure projects, establish relationships with Salesforce account executives, contribute to collateral creation and represent the firm at various industry and Heller-led events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Revenue Generation & Account Development

This position’s primary focus and efforts will be to meet annual sales revenue target set on annual Sales Plan by building and maintaining a robust pipeline and closing deals. 

  • Conduct prospecting to generate new leads and opportunities
  • Advise prospects in aspects of Salesforce capabilities and offerings
  • Build licensing and pricing budgets
  • Follow-up on in-bound leads from Heller marketing
  • Develop and maintain strategic vendor and account executive relationships; collaborate to close deals
  • Develop and Deliver proposals, craft sales presentations and participate in demos to prospects
  • Identify new opportunities to expand scope of engagement with clients
  • Steward current projects to realize contracted revenue and ensure effective transition between project phases
  • Actively work to identify new opportunities that provide the greatest value to the client and deepen the client’s relationship with the firm

Targeted Campaign Execution and Content Contribution

This position will drive or contribute to content creation as well as execute and support various targeted campaigns:

  • Actively participate in industry conferences and events and support Sales and Marketing goals by:
    • Attending 
    • Speaking
    • Networking & learning
  • Contribute to Heller-generated content such as blogs, white papers & webinars
  • Identify and execute joint Salesforce selling activities

Other Job Responsibilities

In addition to direct sales, targeted campaign & content execution and service delivery, this position will:

  • Enter all conversations and notes into CRM and keep pipeline updated
  • Contribute to, and produce, sales proposals and sales strategy
  • Develop collaborative relationship with services team for 
  • producing proposals
  • handing off new business 
  • closing loop for ongoing account development
  • Stay abreast of our marketing efforts and ensure your messaging aligns with those efforts

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven sales experience (5+ years)
  • Significant depth of experience in the Nonprofit and/or Healthcare Foundation sector 
  • Experience selling Salesforce implementation professional services
  • Experience with and understanding procurement processes
  • Experience with establishing and leveraging relationships with software vendor sales teams to close deals
  • Proven capacity to provide strategic guidance to Nonprofit and Higher Education clients
  • Knowledge of nonprofit CRM, digital fundraising and relevant technologies 
  • Salesforce Coud-based CRM and Marketing products in nonprofit environments expertise
  • Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills

LOCATION: Remote, U.S. Some company-funded travel will be required to attend client onsites, support sales activities, represent Heller at conferences, participate in annual staff activities and in-person team meetings.

WORKING HOURS: Our business operation requires employees to work in one of the four, continental U.S. time zones during regular, Mon-Fri business hours. 

Pay Range expected for the position: $150k-$200k annually.
