The Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with our customers and day-to-day oversight of the engineering and operational work delivered to customers by our firm. The Account Manager understands the nonprofit fundraising industry, the mechanics of fundraising campaigns, and the general data and technology requirements of organizations with direct marketing programs. The Account Manager has strong presentation, communication, and task management skills, ensuring customers receive reliable and high-quality customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meeting regularly with customers to understand their service needs, the requirements for their campaigns, reports, and other digital and technology artifacts.
  • Developing resilient relationships with customers that create trust, openness, and partnership between our firm and their organizations.
  • Cross-selling and up-selling new services and solutions to customers when additional needs exist.
  • Interpreting and clarifying customer requirements, which may be incomplete, translating those instructions into technical details and input required to deliver complex services.
  • Supervising, shepherding, and driving communication for all deliverables to customers from across all departments.
  • Continuously learning new tools, techniques, and solutions that drive data and technology transformation in our industry and for our clients.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong, clear, professional communication, both written and oral
  • Strong time management
  • Analytical thinking and reasoning
  • Data analysis in Excel
  • General understanding of CRM software and digital marketing software
  • Ability to learn new business processes and systems
  • Ability to apply high-level business processes to newly learned tools, techniques, and technologies


LOCATION: Remote, U.S. Some limited, company-funded travel may be required to participate in annual staff activities or in-person team meetings.

WORKING HOURS: Our business operation requires employees to work in one of the four, continental U.S. time zones during regular, Mon-Fri business hours. 

Pay Range expected for the position: $40k-$60k annually.
