Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the accounting function, improving processes, and helping build the financial infrastructure needed to support growth. This would be a hybrid role (flexible).

This is a hands-on position with significant visibility across the organization. You’ll work closely with executive leadership, operations, sales, and our in-house title company to ensure accurate financial reporting while continuously improving efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and balance sheet accounts
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Review payroll entries and related reconciliations
  • Coordinate with external CPA firms for tax filings and annual financial reviews
  • Prepare supporting schedules for investors, lenders, and board reporting
  • Monitor cash balances and assist with cash flow forecasting
  • Develop and improve accounting policies, controls, and operating procedures
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects
  • Assist with due diligence for financing, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives
  • Manage accounting for multiple legal entities and intercompany transactions
  • Partner with department leaders to improve reporting and operational efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting workflows

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Experience managing month-end close
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • CPA designation (or CPA candidate)
  • Experience in real estate, title, lending, or marketplace businesses
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Experience building accounting processes in a high-growth company

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you’ll help:

  • Deliver a consistent, efficient monthly close process
  • Improve reporting accuracy and timeliness
  • Strengthen internal controls and documentation
  • Build scalable accounting processes that support company growth
  • Provide leadership with reliable financial information for strategic decision-making

Why Join Rebuilt?

  • Work directly with executive leadership
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact and shape the accounting function
