Power BI Reporting & Visualization Specialist

Our Client is seeking a Power BI Reporting & Visualization Specialist to accelerate the delivery of operational and executive reporting across the organization.

This consultant will focus on transforming existing business data into visually appealing, user-friendly dashboards that drive decision-making throughout the business. The ideal candidate possesses strong Power BI expertise, excellent data visualization skills, and the ability to develop reporting solutions that enable restaurant leaders, franchise operators, and executives to monitor performance effectively.

The data infrastructure, pipelines, and reporting foundations are already in place. This position is focused on dashboard development, report creation, data visualization, and user experience—not data engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard Development

• Create executive and operational dashboards in Power BI
• Design KPI scorecards and performance reporting
• Build drill-through and multi-level reporting experiences
• Deliver reporting products for restaurant operators and executives

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop reports covering labor, sales, food costs, guest satisfaction, food safety, and operational performance
• Translate business requirements into actionable dashboards
• Support ongoing reporting enhancements and new dashboard requests

Visualization & User Experience

• Design polished, intuitive dashboard experiences
• Improve report navigation and usability
• Create effective visualizations and storytelling through data
• Implement dashboard design best practices

Power BI Administration & Governance

• Assist with report organization and deployment
• Support workspace and access management
• Help ensure business users have access to the appropriate reporting assets

This individual should be a reporting specialist—not a data engineer—and should be comfortable stepping into an established reporting environment and immediately contributing to dashboard development efforts.
