Company Description

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join a project in the medical domain focused on building reliable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions across desktop, web, and backend systems.

In this role, you will drive automation strategy, improve CI/CD quality processes, and contribute to performance and stress testing initiatives within a regulated engineering environment.

Job Description

  • Design, implement, and own end-to-end test automation strategies across desktop, web, and backend systems
  • Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automated test frameworks
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve quality gates
  • Perform functional, integration, system, UI, stress, load, and performance testing
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and product stakeholders to improve overall product quality
  • Analyze test results, identify quality risks, and support defect resolution processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA methodologies, tooling, and engineering practices
  • Evaluate and implement modern automation tools and AI-assisted testing capabilities
  • Support delivery of reliable software solutions within a regulated medical environment
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and test strategy planning

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation engineering
  • Strong expertise across multiple testing layers, including unit, integration, system, UI, performance, and stress testing
  • Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript
  • Practical experience with modern test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Ranorex
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and quality engineering best practices
  • Experience designing scalable and maintainable automation frameworks
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher English level

WILL BE A PLUS

  • C# software development background
  • Penetration testing experience
  • ISTQB certification
  • Experience with AI-assisted development and testing tools
  • Experience working in regulated industries, especially healthcare or medical technology
  • German language skills
