Reports to:  Senior Director, Internship Placements

Department: Internships and Professional Exchanges

Location:  US-Remote

What you’ll do: 

  • Coordinate and facilitate candidate interviews for virtual and in person hiring events.
  • Manage candidate rosters in Excel and create reports for each event. 
  • Assist with the planning, scheduling, and execution of hiring events and recruitment initiatives.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for host organizations regarding interview scheduling, event logistics, and recruitment timelines.
  • Perform initial participant interviews, as needed.
  • Communicate interview outcomes and next steps to participants in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collect, track, and report visa appointment updates and outcomes, providing regular status updates to host organizations.
  • Monitor and manage the shared inbox, ensuring prompt responses and follow up on inquiries.
  • Support domestic and international recruitment road shows and hiring events as needed.
  • Maintain and update the CIEE Beacon hiring event grid, tracking interview activity, host selections, and placement outcomes.
  • Support training plan processes, including kickoff coordination, cloning, workflow management, participant reminders, and pipeline tracking.
  • Communicate regularly with international agency partners regarding candidate status, event participation, placement updates, and program requirements.
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and data management across recruitment and placement systems.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to streamline hiring event operations and improve participant and host experiences.

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills with the ability to effectively coordinate a large variety of activities. 
  • Must exude professionalism both internally and externally to CIEE and be committed to company values and stated goals. 
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills adaptable to all types of audiences, including participants, industry partners, international representatives, senior leaders, etc.
  • Ability to work through and resolve a wide range of issues and be an exemplary ambassador of CIEE and its mission and programs 
  • Ability to function well in a complex institutional framework, have a high tolerance for ambiguity and flexibility, and be able to respond quickly and appropriately to changing circumstances
