Job description

Paid Media Specialist (Remote)

About the Role

Are you passionate about paid media, driven by data, and excited to help businesses grow through high-performing digital advertising campaigns?

Etna Interactive, a digital marketing agency with a 25-year legacy of helping elective healthcare practices grow, is seeking a full-time, fully remote Paid Media Specialist who is passionate about digital advertising, thrives on optimizing performance, and enjoys solving complex marketing challenges. If you're analytical, detail-oriented, and excited to build high-performing Google Ads campaigns that make a measurable impact, we'd love to meet you. This remote role is open to candidates residing in California, Arizona, Michigan, Washington, Colorado, or Georgia.

You'll join a collaborative team that partners with medical practices across the country, helping them grow through strategic digital marketing. If you're looking to deepen your PPC expertise in a supportive, fast-paced agency environment, you'll fit right in.

About You

You love solving problems with data and turning insights into action. You're detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture, and you enjoy balancing strategy with hands-on execution. You're comfortable managing multiple campaigns, collaborating across teams, and continuously learning as digital advertising evolves. You're proactive, curious, and take pride in delivering exceptional work. You're humble enough to ask questions, eager to learn, and always looking for ways to improve your craft. Most importantly, you're excited to help medical practices grow through thoughtful, high-performing paid media campaigns.

Why should you choose Etna?

  • Values Driven Culture
    • We live by our values, encouraging flexibility, work-life balance, and an inclusive environment.
  • Commitment to Growth
    • With our progressive PTO system and a focus on development, we ensure you have time to recharge and grow.
  • Great People
    • You’ll be part of a collaborative, talented, and fun team that embodies curiosity, fairness, and lifelong learning.
  • Outstanding Benefits
    • We offer 100% employer-sponsored medical coverage, 401(K) with matching, and employer-sponsored long-term disability insurance.

Why should Etna choose you?

Because our mid-sized agency has made a big name for itself in the medical marketing space, our clients expect and truly deserve the attention of an experienced professional with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Approximately 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing or paid media role.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
  • Experience building, managing, or optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or other highly regulated industries.

Role Responsibilities

As a Paid Media Specialist, you’ll:

  • Manage and optimize paid media campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads to maximize qualified lead volume, efficiency, ROI, and client success.
  • Build, launch, and scale campaigns through keyword research, compelling ad copy, audience targeting, campaign structuring, and strategic budget allocation.
  • Develop creative strategies and briefs for Meta campaigns, directing messaging, formats, concepts, and asset requirements in collaboration with design and content teams.
  • Provide strategic direction for campaign landing pages, including layout, messaging, calls to action, conversion paths, and testing opportunities.
  • Monitor campaign performance and budget pacing, identifying trends and implementing data-driven optimizations across bids, budgets, targeting, audiences, placements, and creative.
  • Plan and execute structured tests across advertisements, audiences, landing pages, offers, and campaign strategies to improve conversion rates and lead quality.
  • Partner with analytics and development teams to ensure accurate conversion tracking, attribution, platform integrations, and campaign measurement.
  • Analyze performance beyond platform metrics by incorporating lead quality, appointment, enrollment, or revenue data whenever available.
  • Translate campaign results into clear insights, recommendations, and performance updates for internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with Client Success, Sales, Design, Content, and Development teams to deliver paid media strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Ensure campaigns comply with platform policies, healthcare advertising requirements, and applicable privacy considerations.
  • Stay current on platform changes, advertising trends, emerging tools, and industry best practices.

While a strong skillset and innate intelligence will get you in the door, a kind personality, and the ability to fit in with the culture at Etna are necessary traits of a successful applicant.
