Job description

Role: AIOps Engineer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6 Months (with a possibility of extension)
Work Hours: Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in LATAM Countries)

The AIOps Engineer will assist in defining and managing our Enterprise monitoring strategy for Observability and Event management. We will also build and integrate best-of-breed observability & predictive platforms to support the AIOps strategy. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of multi-cloud platforms and a deep understanding of ITIL processes with a focus on event and incident management.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Engineer needs strong monitoring and event management background, well versed in SL1 & ServiceNow ITOM. Other key themes: 
  • Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive monitoring strategy covering all observability aspects, including metrics, logs, traces, alerts, dashboards, and reports.
  • Leveraging AI and machine learning techniques for predictive analytics and incident forecasting to automate the detection, diagnosis, and resolution of incidents and problems, and to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of monitoring processes and tools.
  • Collaborating with other IT teams and business partners to ensure alignment of monitoring objectives, requirements, and best practices across the enterprise.
  • Evaluating and selecting appropriate monitoring tools and platforms and integrating them with existing IT systems and processes.
  • Establishing and maintaining service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report client's performance and quality.
  • Providing guidance and support to stakeholders and end users on using and benefiting from the monitoring capabilities and insights.
  • Assist in managing the monitoring and automation tool roadmap and propose and develop innovative solutions based on technology strategy.
  • Collaborate directly with end users, Fusion Center, production support teams, and all product stakeholders to understand business requirements, help drive alignment, and build thoughtful solutions throughout IT.
