À titre de Chef de projet d’usine, vous coordonnerez l’ensemble des activités d’ingénierie dans les projets qui vous sont confiés afin d’assurer une exécution efficace et rentable des travaux, conformément aux spécifications contractuelles, aux exigences de qualité ainsi qu’aux normes de sécurité et d’intégrité. Le rôle comprend la supervision des activités d’ingénierie et de conception, la préparation des budgets, des échéanciers et des évaluations des risques liés à l’ingénierie et/ou à la construction et mise en service, ainsi que la coordination des ressources humaines et matérielles nécessaires à l’exécution des travaux. Vous veillerez à ce que les activités d’ingénierie soient développées à partir d’informations multidisciplinaires complètes, contribuerez au développement de solutions pour des défis techniques complexes, coordonnerez les activités de conception avec les partenaires de consortium et apporterez un soutien lors des activités d’installation, de mise en service et de démarrage. En gérant les tâches du projet, les échéanciers, les coûts et les indicateurs de qualité, tout en résolvant des enjeux techniques, vous contribuerez à la réalisation réussie des projets et à la livraison de solutions d’ingénierie soutenant des projets de réseaux électriques fiables.

  • Coordonner les activités d’ingénierie de différentes disciplines au sein des projets assignés.
  • Veiller à ce que les travaux d’ingénierie soient développés à partir d’informations multidisciplinaires complètes.
  • Développer des solutions pour des défis de projet complexes et coordonner les activités de conception avec les partenaires du consortium.
  • Soutenir les activités d’installation, de mise en service, de chantier et de démarrage en résolvant les problèmes techniques et les erreurs d’ingénierie.
  • Fournir un soutien technique lors des activités de mise en service et de démarrage.
  • Appuyer les activités contractuelles liées aux changements de portée, aux impacts sur les coûts, aux impacts sur les échéanciers et à la quantification des risques.
  • Définir les tâches du projet et répartir le travail entre les membres de l’équipe tout en établissant les mesures liées à l’échéancier, aux coûts et à la qualité.
  • Évaluer les risques et les opportunités du projet et collaborer avec les clients, les représentants officiels, les entrepreneurs et les fournisseurs afin de soutenir l’exécution des projets.

Votre profil

  • Le candidat doit déjà détenir une autorisation de travail lui permettant de travailler pour Hitachi Energy aux États-Unis.
  • Formation avancée et expérience professionnelle pertinente dans le domaine.
  • Expérience en gestion de projets et de processus avec un niveau limité de supervision.
  • Expérience de coordination d’activités d’ingénierie et/ou de construction et mise en service dans le cadre de projets.
  • Connaissance de la coordination de l’ingénierie et de la conception, de la budgétisation, de la planification, de la gestion des ressources et de l’évaluation des risques.

The Opportunity

As a Plants Project Manager, you will coordinate engineering activities within assigned projects to support the efficient and cost-effective execution of work in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety and integrity requirements. The role involves overseeing engineering and design activities, developing budgets, schedules, and risk assessments, and coordinating the personnel and equipment required to execute project work. You will ensure engineering activities are developed using complete multidisciplinary information, support the development of solutions for complex project challenges, coordinate design activities with consortium partners, and provide support during installation, commissioning, and start-up activities. By managing project tasks, schedules, cost and quality measures, and addressing technical issues, you will contribute to successful project execution and the delivery of engineering solutions that support reliable power system projects.

  • Coordinate engineering activities across disciplines within assigned projects.
  • Ensure engineering work is developed using complete multidisciplinary information.
  • Develop solutions for complex project challenges and coordinate design activities with consortium partners.

  • Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up activities.
  • Support contract-related activities associated with scope changes, cost impacts, schedule impacts, and risk quantification.
  • Define project tasks and allocate work among project team members while establishing schedule, cost, and quality measures.
  • Evaluate project risks and opportunities and work with customers, officials, contractors, and suppliers to support project execution.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
