Contract Duration: November 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027
Security Clearance: Current Government of Canada Reliability or higher is required at time of application. Eligibility for Secret is preferred.
The Project Manager supports the Release Delivery Lead in managing day-to-day release execution, acting as the connective tissue between the Release Delivery team and the Integrated Planning & Delivery function.
Own release-level planning and schedule management, maintaining an accurate plan and proactively escalating risks, issues, and variances.
Serve as the primary planning contact for the Delivery Lead, providing clear status updates, progress tracking, and reporting.
Ensure workstream activities, milestones, and dependencies are accurately reflected in the integrated program plan.
Support Delivery Leads through coordination, tracking, reporting, and follow-through activities.
Facilitate release planning and status meetings, driving action items and accountability to commitments.
Produce timely workstream and program-level status reports and delivery metrics.
Maintain release backlogs, work items, and reporting in Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tools.
Experience supporting program, project, or release delivery in a planning, coordination, or PMO capacity.
Strong planning, scheduling, and progress-tracking skills.
Understanding of integrated planning and dependency management across multiple teams.
Ability to identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and delivery impacts.
Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO), MS Project or comparable project management tools.
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
