Your role in our team
As our new Service Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing technical challenges in customer solutions during the in-service support phase. In this role, you will recommend technical solutions and define the most suitable way forward, ensuring that customer needs, technical requirements, compliance, and long-term supportability are taken into consideration.
You will work with a broad range of solutions delivered by Terma, including solutions consisting of both Terma produced hardware and software as well as third-party products. You will support Service Sales with technical input for proposals, assist colleagues in Service Delivery, and collaborate with functions such as Sourcing, R&D, Lifecycle Management, Testing, and our repair organization.
You will become part of Service Solutions, a small team of two colleagues working closely with Service Sales and the different teams across Service Delivery. This includes Service Managers, Service Contract Management, Order Handling, Technical Support and Integrated Lifecycle Support. In total, the Service Delivery organization consists of almost 30 colleagues, and we place great emphasis on team spirit, close collaboration, and helping each other succeed.
How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:

- Analyze technical issues and identifying root causes across customer installations
- Evaluate the impact of obsolescence
- Prepare technical input, estimates, and solution descriptions for customer proposals
- Review proposed solutions to ensure compliance, feasibility, and long-term supportability
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly through reports to both internal stakeholders and customers
Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague who:

- Possesses knowledge of and experience with technical solutions and identifying the most suitable way forward
- Has strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and is able to assess complex technical challenges
- Has experience working with customers and understanding how technical decisions may affect their operations and needs
- It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience with one or more of the following:
- Software, Linux, Docker, Server setup and configuration and Network configuration, including routing, switching, and subnets
