Job description

Summary:

  • Work Mode: 100% Remote - PST preferred but open to any time zone as long as they can attend meetings during PST hours
  • Duration: 3 months, potential to extend or convert
  • Shift: Mon - Fri 8am - 5 PM PST

Responsibilities:

  • Support enterprise-wide quality initiatives by analyzing and researching potential issues within quality metrics and goals of health plan programs
  • Create quality risk assessments and develop processes for health plans to achieve quality metrics
  • Utilize Lean 6 Sigma methodologies to identify potential problems and resolutions with enterprise-wide priority metrics
  • Collaborate through ad hoc initiative requests and scorecard review to support initiative development and implementation
  • Create, maintain, and facilitate quality improvement health plan training
  • Comply with all policies and standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration/Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or equivalent 5 years of experience in Health insurance
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience or managed care
  • Knowledge and experience with Excel, SQL, and PowerBI (or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, dashboards)
  • Project Management skills
  • PowerBI (data modeling, visuals)

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree (MPH, MHA, MBA)
  • 1 year of quality experience preferred
  • CPHQ, Healthcare Data Analytics or Informatics certifications, Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), Project Management certifications (PMP, CAPM)
